Materials Needed:
6MM hook
Worsted (#4) Weight yarn - 120-130 yards
Yarn needle

This comes in sizes 6-12 months 16-19” head (Toddler 1-3 years 18-20” head, Child 3-10 years 19-21” head, Avg. Adult 22-23” head). Follow the coordinated color in the pattern for whatever size you choose to make.

Finished dimensions are 8 (9, 10, 11)“ wide by 6 (6, 7, 7)” tall for the messy bun hat and 7 (7, 8, 8)“ tall for the beanie when flattened and lightly stretched.

Written in US terms.
You need to know sc, hdc, dc, blo, and the 3rd loop of a hdc.

Abbreviations & Terms - US terminology:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Blo - back loop only
Flo - front loop only
V - two double crochet in the same space
3rd loop - this is the loop behind the hdc when working in the round
St - stitch
FO - finish off
* to * - repeat the instructions between the * as many times as told
R - row or round
- stitch counts
Join - sl st into st indicated

Gauge:
8.5 sc blo x 6 rows =2x2”
