Once you recognize the repetition, this elegant cowl is not difficult to master. You just need to knit and purl according to the pattern, using cable needles. The end result looks like a beautiful field of zig-zag braids, which is why I named it “Fields of Gogh.”

Materials

• Yarn – Bulky weight yarn approx. 246yards (225m)
• Needles – US size 10 1/2 (7mm) circular needle or one set of straight needles, cable needle

Finished Size

• circumference – 46 1/2 inches (118 cm), width – 7 inches (18 cm)
