Fiesta features the richness of colors and different stitch patterns, spiced up a bit with fringes and turned into a gorgeous Boho style shawl, that will wrap pleasantly your body and soul.

Fiesta is a fingering weight, symmetrical triangle shawl worked back and forth from the top center to the bind-off edge. The sample uses three colors, but I’m sure it can be also a great stash buster for your colorful leftovers.

Yarn
To make the shawl you’ll need about 970m/ 1060y of fingering weight yarn divided into 3 colors as follows:
C1 – 345m / 377y; C2 – 305m/ 333y; C3 – 320m / 350y.
For the fringes you’ll extra yarn – about 10g of each color.

Sample shawl was made with Woollala Only Merino ( 100% Wool – Merino; 400m / 437y per 100g ).
Shown in: C1 – Lizzy&Darcy; C2 - Golden Cinnamon; C3 – Midnight Blue.
Note: The yardage is approximate.

Needles
3.5 mm (US #4) circular needles ( 80 cm / 32” long ), or size needed to get the right gauge;
4.0 mm (US #6) circular needles ( 80 cm / 32” long ), or two sizes bigger than the gauge needles.

Gauge
22 sts and 44 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4 “ - in garter stitch worked flat with 3.5mm (US #4) needles, after wet blocking.
Note: Obtaining the correct gauge is not necessary in case of this project. However all differences will affect the size of the finished item as well as the yardage required.

Próbka ściegu
22 o. i 44 okr na kwadrat 10x10 cm – próbka ściegiem francuskim wykonywana na drutach 3.5mm na płasko, po blokowaniu na mokro.
Uwaga: W przypadku tego projektu nie jest kluczowe uzyskanie prawidłowej próbki, jednak wszystkie różnice wpłyną na końcowy rozmiar chusty a także na zużycie włóczki.
