Fiesta y Siesta
Each year, my city throws a 2-week long party (Fiesta) that celebrates the diverse culture and heritage we have here with amazing and colorful displays, costumes, and multiple parades across the city.
In this Fiesta series, I wanted to capture the inherently Hispanic culture that thrives throughout the city year round with images that are fun and bright.
This listing includes the Fiesta y Siesta panel and the separator panel (depicted in yellow and black, and white and black respectively). All patterns in this series are worked in the overlay mosaic crochet method. This means that the size, hook, and amount of yarn used is totally up to you!
To create just one panel with no repeats, I used a 3.5mm hook, and about 100-150 yards of yarn to create a piece that measures 6”x13”.
Use any of the Fiesta Series to create afghans, pillows, wall art, or anything you want to crochet. Charts and written instructions are included with all patterns.
