Fifi Cardigan
Fifi is a lovely, light, and fluffy cardigan knitted from the top down with raglan increases. The cardigan is knitted in Handdyed Fat Mohair, it is wonderfully cozy and features wide ribbed front edges that are knitted continuously along with the body.
First you knit back and forth with increases at the beginning and end of the row to shape the neckline, while increases are also made at the four raglan markers to shape the shoulders. Once the neckline is shaped, stitches are cast on for the ribbed front edges. When the yoke is knitted, the work is divided for body and sleeves. The stitches for the sleeves are placed on a stitch holder, and the front and back pieces are joined while casting on stitches for the armholes. After that, the body is knit in one piece and finished with a ribbed edge at the bottom. The sleeves are knitted in the round and also finished with a ribbed edge. Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted around the neckline.
