For charity
Half of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go to The Macular Society, a UK-based charity that works to fight and raise awareness about eye conditions affecting the central retina or macula.

About this pattern
This piece is crocheted in the round, closing at the end of each round with a slip stitch, or an invisible join (tutorial here) for a neater finish.

A standing treble (sdtr) is a treble that can be crocheted without a starting chain (tutorial here) for a neater finish. It can be substituted with a starting chain of 3.

The felt is optional but recommended in order to make the key ring sturdier. It can be secured with a little glue or simply inserted when assembling the front and back of the eye.

Materials needed:
3.5, 4 and 4.5mm crochet hooks
Oddments of DK yarn in Black, White and Contrast Colour (CC)
1 metal key ring chain
