Hello guys!

This project bag is knitted flat and sewn together when all panels are done.
It features two techniques: intarsia and embroidery. 
Panel 1 is worked using the intarsia technique; panel 2 is embroidered. 

For the embroidery on panel 2, a water-soluble tracing paper is needed.

Size
The bag is 40x35cm.

The pattern contains written instructions as well as charts for the intarsia and embroidery.

Yarn :
(I used) Rowan Alpaca Soft DK
Simply black 216 - 2 balls
Simply white 201 - 3 balls.

The bag can, of course, be knitted with any other kind of yarn as long as your tension is the same as the one of the pattern.

Tension:
22X30 sts over stocking stitch (and over intarsia)

Needles:
3mm knitting needles (straight or circular)

EMBROIDERY ON PANEL 2
For the embroidery you can use the same yarn you used of the bag or you can use any yarn you already have in your stash.

Needles
Tapestry Needle and sharp point needle

Cords for cording
2 cords approx 170 cm each.
(They could be knitted in i-cord)
