Fika (fee-ka) is a great Swedish word. ‘To Fika’ basically means to ‘meet up, have a coffee and a chit-chat’. It is more about the people than the coffee or food. Spending time with people and focusing on connecting.
Fika is the exact thing that I feel like I am missing during this pandemic. I miss chats with my bestie or the ease of heading out for a coffee. These things will be so sweet when we can do them again. Until then, I present to you the Fika Hat. Spend time creating and focusing on joy and thinking of those you love. We will be together again soon!

Supplies:
6mm hook
#5 bulky weight yarn (I used 125 yards Mary Maxim, Marvelous Chunky in “sweet stuff” for teen/adult small size)
Needle, measuring tape
Pompom (optional)
