A more detailed variation of the summer top Fiks. Beside the perfect ballet shaped neckline, this summer top has also bust darts, ease at the body and a high-low body hem.

The summer top Fiks & Fin has a wide ballet neckline and slim shoulder lines. The simplicity of the design requires a perfect fit at the yoke so it is meant to be worn without a positive ease at the yoke, but it will be added at the body. It is pretty and feminine to wear and easy to knit!

This top is worked from the top down as follows:The shoulders are cast on in rows and joined after shaping the neckline with firm increases that hold the fabric into shape. Front and Back of the yoke are worked separately. After armholes are shaped Front and Back are joined to work the body in the round. Bust darts are provided to add fabric and good fit. Increases will create ease and a high-low hem will end the body. Small edges at body, neck and armholes are worked in either a 1x1 rib or a slim curled edge.

The top has a negative ease of approx 0-5 cm/0-2” at circumference of bust. Be aware of the armhole depth, so the top will not be too tight under arm!

You work inc rnds to achieve 22 (22, 22, 22) (29, 29, 29) cm/8.5 (8.5, 8.5, 8.5) (11.5, 11.5, 11.5)” ease at the body.

Yarn:
575 (650, 710, 750) (900, 975, 1100) m/ 629 (711, 776, 820) ( 984, 1066, 1203) yd, fingering weight, Cotton yarn or Linen yarn with approx. 330m/360yd per 100g/3.53oz. Samples in grey linen-cotton yarn.

Note! Vegan yarns are heavier that animal fibers, so if you want a woolen yarn choose a fingering weight yarn with more meters per 100g/3.53oz.

Gauge:
22 sts x 28 rows over 10cm x 10cm/4” x 4” with 3.5mm/US 4 needles in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking

Denne top er strikket oppefra og ned: Skuldrene strikkes frem og tilbage og halsudskæringen strikkes med forskellige slags udtagninger, for at holde faconen i dit strik. Forstykket og ryggen strikkes hver for sig og samles efter ærmegab, hvorefter kroppen strikkes rundt med udtagninger og afsluttes med en ryg, der er længere end forstykket. Smalle kanter på krop, hals og ærmegab afslutter dit strik.
