This pattern is for a baby blanket which uses filet stitch to create the outline of two elephants with a heart in the middle and hearts at the top and bottom. It is made as one large panel plus a border. It is a simple pattern which uses UK double crochet and treble crochet / US single crochet and double crochet. This makes it great for a beginner. It is a written pattern.

Using DK, it makes a blanket sized 75cm x 85cm: it could be made using aran wool and would come out larger.

This blanket used just under 300g of DK for the main colour and 50g of DK for the border. It was made using a 4mm crochet hook.

The pattern has been tested. It is written in both UK and US terms - there are too different documents which you can download after purchase and choose the one you want.
