Made with Senso #3 wt thread and #1 steel crochet hook.
This pattern will retain the shape of the piece I made when you use the normall dc height with 2 dc inside the box. No height of stitch nor change of how many dc in each box is needed to make it look like the picture

PATTERN NOTES: The pattern says:
Chain 80, dc in 4th st from hook. There should be 77 dc in first row.
-there are 77 dc in the first row when you are done and count them, BUT, you are only making 76 dc, because when you ch 80 and then go into the 4 st, your chain just created the first dc, automatically. Then you go on to crochet 76 more dc, ending with a count of 77dc. It is important to count in the beginning of a filet, or nothing will go right after, that is why I gave the row count of the completed first row of DCs.
