Filius Bonacci (Fibonacci) is an easy and colorful scarf worked using one color brioche knitting worked flat, using a fibonacci sequence to play with colors.
This is a beginner brioche project, it is actually a “didactic” pattern to learn how to knit one-color brioche worked flat.


Finished size: 180 x 20 cm (70.75 x 8”).
Note: Size is easily customizable, using different yarn weight and needle sizes.

Materials
Yarn:
C1: Rowan Alpaca soft DK (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca 125 m 137 yds/50 g), col. 00211 Charcoal; 2 skeins (250 m/274 yds).
C2: Rowan Alpaca soft DK (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca 125 m 137 yds/50 g), col. 00220 Autumn Gold; 2 skeins (250 m/274 yds).
Needles:
3.75 mm /US 5 * circular knitting needles with 60 cm/24” cable.
* or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions:
Tapestry needle.

Gauge
16 stitches x 24 rows = 10x10 cm (4”) in brioche stitch.
Note: Gauge is not critical for this project.
