The sample was worked from one of my hand-painted yarn blanks, holding both strands together as I worked. It should also work with two strands of any other sock/fingering weight yarn held together. A single strand of DK weight yarn could also be substituted.

If using another yarn, approximately 100-110 gm will be needed.
