Fimbulvinter
Fimbulvinter is an old norse word that means “great winter”. It was used in norse mythology to describe the long and hard winter only two humans survived right before ragnarok (the end of the gods) hit.
A hat knit in super bulky yarn is one of the staple items for surviving such conditions, but will also keep you warm during a regular winter.
With a twisted rib and a basic cable pattern this knits up really fast!
