The Find Me Waterside Sweater is an oversized, top-down, drop-shoulder sweater with a simple construction so you can make it fit exactly how you want. The instructions for this sweater are meant to be more of a guide and provide the foundation for you to knit this sweater in any yarn weight and needle size you’d like.

Size Guide + Finished Measurements
The sweater is intended to fit very oversized so it drapes off the shoulders pretty far. For reference, I have a 37 in/94 cm bust and knit the sweater to have finished bust size of 48 in/122 cm. Feel free to go with more or less ease. You can try on the sweater as you go to see where it hits you on your shoulders so you can continue the increase rounds until you get to your desired width.

Yarn
I used approximately 3 skeins of Lion Brand Re-Spun Thick + Quick (223 yds/204 m per 12oz/340g skein). Feel free to use any yarn of your choice. Yardage will change based on the sweater size you make and the yarn you use. Color shown is Desert Sand.

Needles
I used 9mm (US13) in 24 in/60 cm circular needles for the collar and yoke and 9mm (US 13) 40 in/101 cm circular needles for the yoke and body. You’ll want to have at least a 24 in/60 cm circular needle for the collar and at least a 32 in or longer circular needle for the rest of the yoke and body with whatever needle size you’re knitting with.

2 stitch markers (1 different color to denote beginning of round)

Gauge
The gauge I knit this in is:
10 STS + 13 Rows = 4 in/10 cm on 9mm needles in stockinette stitch.
