Lovely warm socks, in a classic Aran cable pattern, knitted toe-up, and incorporating the Fish Lips Kiss Heel method. This pattern will also be needed to knit these socks, and can be obtained for the extremely reasonable price of $1 USD.
If you liked my Smooshy Cable Socks pattern, then this variation is great in that it uses a conventional sock weight yarn, so that they can be worn with sneakers or boots. I have written the pattern for a medium sized woman’s foot, with instructions for how to modify the width for other sizes.
You will require about 150g of any good sock weight yarn to knit these, depending on the length you decide to make them.
