The small, but mighty Fine Feather Headband joins the rest of the Fine Feather crew! Like the mittens, the Fine Feather Headband uses 2 contrasting colors. This time, it uses a solid color for the faux icord, and a variegated color in the Fine Feather stitch pattern. It’s a super cute and stylish headband, providing some much needed warmth on those chilly winter days. Looking to make a set? This is an advanced beginner level pattern. The pattern is written in standard US crochet terms.

There are instructions for modification throughout so that you can customize your headband.

Sizing
This pattern is written in 5 sizes with 1 to 2” (2.5 to 5 cm) of negative ease.
Max head circumference per size: (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) = (16”, 18”, 20”, 22”, 24”)/ {40 cm, 45 cm, 50 cm, 56 cm, 60 cm}

Yarn and Yardage
This pattern uses DK weight yarn.

Yardage (CC = contrasting color; MC = main color):

1: Total CC: 31 yards (28 m); MC: 46 yards (37 m)
2: Total CC: 37 yards (34 m); MC: 66 yards (60 m)
3: Total CC: 60 yards (55 m); MC: 128 yards (117 m)
4: Total CC: 67 yards (61 m); MC: 134 yards (123 m)
5: Total CC: 72 yards (70 m); MC: 160 yards (146 m)
Yardage is maximum based on tester experience; you might need more or less.
