Fine Line is a modern and effortless crescent shawl with just the right amount of laciness. Choose two skeins of fingering weight yarn in contrasting colors to play with this fun and easy stitch pattern. Fine Line takes its name from the elegant and wavy line highlighting the difference between colors and the alteration of the same lace.

This pattern has written and charted instructions.

Finished measurements: The sample is 85” / 215 cm wingspan and 18.5”/ 47 cm deep. Size is easy to customize.

Materials:
• Yarn: 1 skein of MC and 1 skein of CC Merino 4ply by 7oczek 437yards/ 3.53 ounces, 400 meters/ 100 grams; Approx. 437 yards/400 meters of MC and 437 yards/400 meters of CC 100% Merino 4 ply or other fingering weight yarn that knits up to the gauge.
The sample was knit using Merino 4 ply by 7 oczek in Antyczny Róż (MC) and Grafit (CC).
• Needles and other notions: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, needle to weave in ends.

Gauge: 24 Stitches per 4 inches/ 10 cm after blocking with US 4 (3.5 mm) needles in Stockinette Stitch and 2”x 1¾”/ 5 cm x 4,5 cm per one lace repeat. Gauge is not crucial for this project but may affect finished measurements and yardage. If you are a loose knitter you may need additional yardage/meterage.

Skills required: Knitting and purling, increases and decreases, yarn overs.

Pattern has been test knitted and tech edited.
