Floaty and soft, this open cardigan is knitted in
a laceweight mohair-silk.

Working Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze laceweight yarn on larger needles gives a beautifully airy fabric, as demonstrated here.
The design has square front panels which softly hang open, and are decorated with a lace stitch. The back of the cardigan has a full-length panel of lace too. The rest of the body and the sleeves are in stocking stitch.

YARN USED IN SAMPLE: Rowan Kidsilk Haze (Laceweight; 70% mohair, 30% silk; 210m/230yds per 25g ball) x5, (5, 6, 6, 7) balls.

ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES: 1 pair 4mm (UK 8/US 6) knitting needles. 4mm (UK 8/US 6) circular needles, 100cm long or longer. Stitch markers. Stitch holders.
