Fingering Pleated Gloves
SKILL LEVEL: This pattern is written in the round. This is an advanced beginner/Intermediate pattern, but you must know how to knit in the round and cast onto circular needles. I also provide a link to a Youtube video to help with the “adventurous section”
The only Increase stitch used is the M1R. I provide a link to see how this is done. This is an optional increase stitch.
Size: Small-large options
This pattern features a scrunched knit called pleats. It looks like you have scrunched your gloves up around your wrist, but that scrunch is written into the pattern. I hope you enjoy!
Materials you will need to start my Fingering Pleated Knit Gloves Pattern:
3mm (us2 needles) and 3.25mm needles. I use circular needles. You can use Magic Loop or double points, whichever you prefer.
---partial skein of Fingering weight yarn ( I used Haystacks by Yarn Cafe Creations: One (100 gram/437 yards) skein
The yarn base is Biscotti Sock (85% Superwash Merino Wool/15% Nylon/437 yards/100 grams/4-ply)
---3 stitch markers (I like to mark certain rounds to help keep track of rounds
