Fingerless Biker Gloves
I designed these for a biker friend of mine that owns a tat shop. I also made a pair of them for myself and loved them :)
This pattern is worked in the round with a gusset for the thumb and each finger is knit separately working on live stitches attached to the palm part of the garment. The only seeming required may be in between the fingers, but if you pick up the stitches tightly enough you will not have holes to close up after you finish each finger. You can choose to knit each finger as long or as short as you like.
Extra Notes: I have also knit these on a size 4 for a small hand, size 5 for a medium sized hand, and a size 6 which fit a man’s hand. The gauge changed just enough to fit the different people, but did not change too drastically to notice it when being worn.
