Fingerless Frog Mittens
by Ginny Sturdy
This pattern is for children’s fingerless mittens. The finished mitten is 6 inches long, and 3 inches wide (not including thumb section).
The unique design feature is the cute little frog motif on the back of the mittens. He is made from a combination of cabling and bobbles. I do like these little frogs, with their big feet, and little open mouths.
I have suggested the wools that I have used, but any Aran weight wool will work well, and make a lovely pair of cosy mitts. All the pairs I have knitted have taken less that 50g, so you should be fine with one ball of wool.
The mittens are knitted flat, and there is just one seam to sew up.
