Fingerless Gloves
Long or Short - DK or Worsted
By Tricia Hodson - LazyTcrochet
This is an updated version of my Signature Collection gloves, worked seamlessly in the round. This style fits ladies and teens and has a vintage slouchy arm warmer flair for the long version with instructions for a shorter, wristlet style.
Instructions included for both worsted weight yarn or the lighter weight DK version.
One size fits ladies average - 7” or 12 - 14” in length.
Yarns used were I Love This Yarn Solid worsted weight and Premiere Basix DK.
Ravelry only shows Worsted weight yarn (#4) - approximately 4 oz. (200 - 210 yards) for the long style and 2 oz. (110 yards) for the shorter version. (Shown in I Love This Yarn)
DK weight light #3 yarn - Approximately 2 oz. or 175 yards for the long version and 1.5 oz. or 130 yards for the short version. (shown in Premier Basix DK)
Written instructions with photo diagram.
This pattern starts with a Foundation Double Crochet stitch which creates a comfortable, stretchy edge at the top of the gloves. Instructions are included with the option to start with a chain and double crochet instead. Visit LazyTcrochet on YouTube for a tutorial HERE.
