We all love those little samples of yarn, but what to knit with them? This pattern is part of the ‘Outside the Box’ pattern collection made especially for yarn sampler boxes. The whole collection is available for 10 USD on Ravelry.
These cute and cozy fingerless gloves are knitted ‘outside the box’. The pattern gives a straightforward and easy pattern, with ideas and options to play around with yarn samples of different colours and weights and to turn each pair of wrist warmers into an individual piece of art.
Moreover, instructions are given on how to adjust the size of your glove for a perfect fit!
Materials: approximately 50 grams (200 m) of yarn samples in different colours and weight
Needles: US size 0-1 (2.00-2.25 mm) set of 4 or 5 dpns, or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows over 4 inches / 10 cm in st st, knitted in the round
Finished Size: fits average sized hand, instructions for adjusting the size are given
Difficulty: Easy. You will need to know the following stitches:
k - knit
p - purl
m1 - make 1 stitch
