I had some Peace Fleece left over from another project and just loved the colors, so one evening I was inspired to make a pair of simple fingerless mittens. This project took less than one skein. These would be good for a beginner as there is no thumb gusset to make. They could easily be made without the band of contrasting color. Please feel free to PM me with any mistakes or questions!
