The flower motif featured in this blanket was shown to me by a craft group called the Women of Finglas - thus the name. I developed and expanded the pattern to what it is now. A 6 x 8 flower blanket will be 32inches x 48 inches, make fewer or more flowers for different sizes required, the pattern is easily scaled up or down.

Simply Soft, white by Carron. Weight: worsted/aran. 42oz/1,100g. 2,205yrds/2,016m
Essentials Crochet, turquoise by Rico Design. Weight: Lace/ no. 10 count crochet cotton. 1.76oz/50g. 312yrds/280m. Any worsted weight and lace weight yarns will do.
