This is a DK weight pattern. The hat can be worn quite close fitted, or with some slouch depending on your preference.

I have included two versions of the hat pattern. Version 1 uses slightly less of the contrast colour than Version 2.

For Version 1 of the adult hat I used approximately 50g of yarn for the main colour and approximately 10g of yarn for the contrast, so this would be the ideal project for using up scraps and leftovers.

The proceeds of this pattern will be going to Cancer Research UK - a charity which is very close to my heart. Nearly everyone is affected by cancer, they either know someone that has it, or has had it, or they have been affected by it themselves. I know that my family has had it’s share of heartache, but also happiness when treatment has worked. This is why I am trying to raise money right now for Cancer Research UK so that there are many more successful outcomes for everyone who has a positive diagnosis.
