A woman brought a pair of these mittens into the shop and said her neighbor knit them for her when she was a child. She had never worn them and gave them to us. We reverse engineered them, wrote the pattern and made them into a kit.

Rauma Finnulgarn 50gm/191 yds or Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport 50 gm/184 yds,
1 skein each of main color MC & contrast color CC,
3 colors for cuff (used about 4 grams of each) and optional finer yarn for cuff lining (about 15 grams)

Gauge
9 – 9.5 sts. to 1” in stockinette stitch

Needles
Double Pointed – Sizes 0 ad 1
Or desired needle for small circumference knitting
