Fiona Cable Lace Blanket
Description
This blanket merges crochet, cables, and lace to make a beautiful baby blanket. Combination of Irish cables and lace is an exquisite tribute to celtic heritage.
The blanket includes shell stitches, six-cross cable crochet stitches, and chain stitches. The lacy effect has been generated by the replacement of single crochet stitches with chains between cables and post-stitches. The blocking of both the blanket center and the border is required to make the blanket lacy. The pattern includes blocking instructions.
The pattern includes stitch diagrams of the blanket. In addition, video tutorials are included for the two cable stitches used (links below).

4 skeins of Cascade Yarns, Longwood Sport, Superwash Extrafine Merino Wool, color: 46 (273 yards per skein)

Blanket Blocking Supplies: a blocking pad, blocking pins, and a spray bottle
Blanket Dimensions:
30.5 inches wide by 32.5 inches tall (with the blanket border)
