This pillow merges crochet, cables, and lace to make a beautiful accessory to the blanket. Combination of Irish cables and lace is an exquisite tribute to Celtic heritage. This pattern is only the pillow, the blanket pattern is sold separately (links below)

The pillow includes shell stitches, six-cross cable crochet stitches, and chain stitches. The lacy effect has been generated by the replacement of single crochet stitches with chains between cables and post-stitches. The blocking of the pillow is required to make it lacy. The pattern includes blocking instructions.

The pattern includes stitch diagrams of the pillow. In addition, video tutorials are included for the two cable stitches used (links below).
