Yarn - 1 Skein - Biches & Bûches (4-ply fingering) - Spun and Milled in Scotland. 270 yds (248 meters) per 50g skein or similar fingering-weight yarn. Sample in - Grey Beige - 260 yards (238 meters).

Needles - US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle and US 8 (5.0 mm) (for the bind off). Various circular needle cord lengths can be used - recommended at the beginning 22 in (56 cm) - progressing to a 36 in (120 cm).

Scarflette Construction - This is a crescent-shaped, Scottish-themed Scarflette. It starts with a unique, stretchy YO (yarnover) Garter Tab Cast On and increases within the various design elements. As we begin our knitting stroll, we will knit some garter rows and a field of flowers. This scarflette would not be complete without the iconic thistle, highlighting the flowers’ beauty and a special place in our adventure. We end the piece with more garter rows and a delightful Picot Edge. The size of the Fiona Scarflette is great for in between seasons, when you want just a little “something”. This is a great size project to knit while on vacation.

Scarflette Dimensions- 11 in (28 cm) x 52 in (132 cm).
