Fiona's Sunrise Shawl
by A. Palmatier
Fiona’s Sunrise Shawl was inspired by two of my very good friends – Fiona, who sent me a beautiful sunrise photo which inspired this colourway and Gloria, who taught me the Double Row Knitting technique.
Double Row Knitting creates a garment with a horizontal rib. This translates to a reversible fabric that has excellent drape and coziness.
Finished size: 32” wide along bind off edge x 12” deep and 72” wide point-to-point, blocked
Needles: 5.5 mm circular needles, 32” long or longer
Gauge: 19 sts per 4” in garter stitch
Yarn: Any mini skein set of fingering weight yarn, approx. 625 m / 683 yds.
