For every Etsy and Ravelry purchase you make, I’m going set aside $1 (regardless of your purchase amount. you buy $1 worth of goods, that whole $1 goes) to make a donation quarterly to an organization that plants trees globally to combat deforestation. I will be sharing each quarter where I’ve donated and how much I donate, on my blog deennasrambles.home.blog.

Fionnuala, an Irish maid of legend who was turned into a swan by her stepmother until she was saved by marrying Lairgren, when the curse was broken and she was returned to human form . Can you see her feathers and the flowing water of her home while she lived as a swan? Can you see the seeds and the leaves of the plants she ate before the curse was broken? I can, and a cowl made of her feathers will be sure to keep your neck toasty in the cold months ahead!

Knit with beads or without, it is equally gorgeous!
