Gauge is not relevant to this design; the larger your yarn and needle, the larger your flowers, and vice versa.

The double-flower shown here is worked on size US #10 needles (purple flower) and US #8 needles (yellow flower and green stem/leaves), with aran and worsted weight yarns, respectively.
