Fire!
Living in the Southern California wilderness, we deal with a lot of fires every year. Hense this lovely bag – the last stand. Fire plays and goes from night to day depending on which side you look at. On one side you have the fire consuming all, on the flip side – at night, one willow or very squiggly tree stands alone-smoke curling around and through it. Will it be consumed or will the wind blow the fire in the other direction at the last instant? Already, it’s leaves have been taken… but there’s always hope. Worked from the bottom up and in the round this is a quick knit.
