Fire Engine Hat
Give a big smile to someone small with this delightful child’s hat.
This pattern will make a hat with 3 identical fire engines.
Designed to help young people with their independence, this hat is safer and easier to put on because the stitch on the brim means the hat stays on very well without needing to be tied or buttoned under the chin. An especially helpful design if the child’s school has banned hats that fasten around the neck.
This hat fits my 3 year old with room to spare. The brim keeps the hat secure even on my 1 year old’s head so you could make this for a young toddler and it would be wearable for many years.
