‘Fire O’erhead’ is a tri-cornered, stranded colourwork hat featuring traditional Fairisle motifs and a brim that’s folded in half along a purl row for extra warmth on the ears.

Directions are for two sizes, Large (to fit a 23” (58cm) head) & Medium (to fit a 21” (53cm) head). Large size has zero ease, Medium has slight negative ease.

Techniques used are provisional cast-on, knitting in the round, stranded colourwork, picking up stitches, 3-needle bind-off and the making of tassels.
