Fire Square
Fire Square is a traditional ornamental design often referred to Christmas. It can be used separately for a pillow cover. Or several squares joined together will make a wonderful Christmas blanket.

This easy to follow pattern (14 pages) is written for one size. It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places. Please, note that there is NO CHART available in the pattern.
Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern).
Materials:
- Yarn in one solid color.
- Crochet hook 4mm (G) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
- Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
Size: The size of the finished square depends on the yarn and hook you use. My square is approx. 50cm (20”).
