This is an easy to knit cowl pattern done in a loop stitch, which gives the cowl a nice fluffy, warm feeling.
It is knitted in Bernat Softee Baby Stripes yarn, colorway Fireball Stripe, to match my Fireball pullover. I used about 1 1/2 balls as I didn’t want it too long or loose-fitting around my neck.
I used size 7mm needles, which is a tiny bit larger than a size 10 1/2 US. Since gauge is not that important, a 10 1/2 US size needle should give you approximately the same size cowl.
The cowl is worked flat then seamed at the ends.
