This shawl is comprised of a faggotting lace border and a textured and unusual lace focal stitch. The focal stitch reminds one of Firecrackers., The combination makes a lovely shawl.

The shawl is knit using fingering weight yarn and requires approximately 1350 yards of yarn. The finished size is 22 1/2 x 74 inches and is knit with Handmaiden’s Tree Wool yarn in colorway, Sangria.

The pattern is CHARTED only.

Skill Level: Intermediate.

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged. (This is the ONLY crochet in this knit pattern).
The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Beverly Long, who can be reached at: blong39@hotmail.com
