These Firefly Lantern crochet patterns are a fun, simple way to add color to your room, a smile each time you see them, and a great conversation piece. The pattern includes three different designs and lengths. Each completed using a combination of the 3 different row designs.

Short Lantern - Approximately 14 inches tall
Medium Lantern - Approximately 15.5 inches tall
Long Lantern - Approximately 16.5 inches tall

What do you need to make these?

This pattern (of course)
Skein of your favorite worsted weight yarn
5.5mm Hook (I hook)
2- 8inch metal rings for each lantern
1 small ring for the hanger
Darning needle to tuck in your tails.

I would say that this design is an advanced beginner pattern. The actual stitches are not complicated, however, it is a little awkward the first few rows crocheting on a hoop. Once you get used to it, it’s a breeze!

Stitches include: Chain, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Bobble, Slip Stitch.
