Gauge isn’t that important for this pattern.

Sadly the Sirdar Firefly yarn isn’t available anymore, but you can replace it with another fun yarn, which has a bit of sparkle or other interesting feature. Fingering yarn is the best choice, since this is a lace pattern.

• Color B: 15 grams (150 meters/164 yards) Rico Design Fashion Romance, colorway 6 Anthracite, or alterrnatively use 1 ball of Garnstudio Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, color 16 Black (140 m/153 yards)

• Color C: 50 grams (190 meters/208 yards) of Alison & Mae Mohairy, White, or alternatively use 1 ball of Garnstudio Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, color 01 White (140 m/153 yards)

• Color D: 1 skein Sirdar Firefly Metallic, colorway 145 Firecracker, 140 meters (153.1 yards), 50 grams
