Mum fell in love with the colour of this wool. She wanted something to keep her neck warm, but didn’t want a scarf as she doesn’t like things ‘tied’ around her neck. She didn’t want ‘bulges’ if she wore it under a coat. She didn’t want a cowl as she didn’t want to mess up her hair when putting it on. I tried knitting her the celtic cable neckwarmer as she loved that pattern, but 3/4 of the way through, she thought it looked a bit ‘grannyish’ in this particular shade…so I came up with this! (Mothers - picky aren’t they?!?!?!)
