The Fireside Poncho is a pretty and warm extra layer. Perfect to quickly pull over your head when you need to be that little bit warmer or just to look a little bit more dressed up. Looks great paired with jeans and leather boots because it has that rustic feel and look. I have sat in front of a fire toasting my hands while wearing one of these ponchos and my back was still warm.

The Cleckheaton California yarn changes colors without you having to change balls, making fewer threads to sew in later.

There is a different stitch for the corner which is described in detail with detailed photos to help you.

The photos of the poncho shown are using approx. 2 and 1/2 balls but you can easily crochet a longer poncho if you purchase more yarn.
