Firestone Sweater
This sweater is knit from the top down in one piece with nothing but stockinette stitch (can’t beat that!) with colorwork on the yoke before the sleeve separation.
This pattern is written knowing that people like to read patterns differently. Some prefer focusing on stitch counts. Some prefer tracking row numbers. So I give you it ALL to help suit your pattern reading needs.
This pattern includes a video tutorial for the cast on and bind off edges, and a chart for the colorwork pattern.
This sweater is designed to have 2 inches of positive ease.
The length of the sweater and the calculated yardage needed for the pattern is designed to stop just below the waist, but you are welcome to continue longer (just make sure to include additional yardage!)
