This delightful and fanciful mosaic (one-color-at-a-time) Christmas stocking works up quickly in the round.

Finished stocking is about 22” long (top of cuff to bottom of foot) and 5” wide. A fast I-cord loop completes the top cuff, making the stocking easy to hang.

The stocking has only a bit of purling (in the heel flap) and uses the familiar gusset sock construction.

You’ll use nearly the entire skein of the background red, and only some of the green and a bit of the white, so you’ll have enough left for other projects, too.
