When it was time for my baby to celebrate First Communion, the fashion rules were simple: wear all white, be fancy with a veil, and cover up your shoulders. Surprise! Many First Communion dresses are sleeveless. My response was this very simple, yet dressy and lacey shawl sized for a little girl. It is a nice cover-up for spring and summer evenings and would look lovely in a variety of colors.
