You should know how to crochet following stitches:

• Ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), hdc (half double crochet), dc (double crochet), tr (treble).

This pattern includes:

Crochet hooks:

• C-2 / 2.75 mm.

Size:

• Square motif side is 11.7 cm / 4-5/8’’.

Recommended materials:

• Sport weight yarn in 4 colors. Shown here Halcyon Yarn Homestead 8/2 Cotton Yarn, doubled (100% unmercerized cotton. Doubled to sport weight: 352.4 yds / 322 m / 100 g). Approximately for one motif: 1 g / 4 yds in Light Brown, 2 g / 7 yds in Wine, 3 g / 11 yds in Special Green, 4 g / 14 yds in Grape colors.
• To double yarn: use kitchen scale to check while winding half of needed yarn weight in a separate ball. After scale shows the half of weight you need, form a new ball of doubled yarn.
• Tapestry needle.
