First Star sweater
Step-by-step video tutorial.
I’ll guide you through every step to knit your very first sweater!
The First Star Sweater is one of the simplest sweater types, worked top-down and in the round. This design helps you build skills and confidence to take the next step, all while being a satisfying knit on its own.
♥ SKILL LEVEL: Designed for knitters who know how to knit and purl. The pattern includes step-by-step instructions and a full video tutorial to help you create this sweater with confidence.
♥ PATTERN DETAILS:
FORMAT: Instant download PDF file with instructions in both centimeters and inches.
EXTRAS: I’ve also included a Knitting Project Planner made just for this circular yoke sweater, and a round counter to help keep track of your progress.
LANGUAGES: Available in English, German, and French.
♥ METHOD:
This sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down, starting with the neckline ribbing. German Short Rows are used to shape the back neck (optional). The yoke is formed with five rounds of increases, and then the body and sleeves are separated and knit in the round.
Make it your own: Choose your preferred length, neckline (crew or mock neck), and fit options.
