First Time Fair Isle Cap
by Wendy Ellis
This is a great pattern for learning the basics of Fair Isle technique with an easy to memorize (and see) pattern. It is a very simple hat, so you can really work on your strategies for keeping the tension even. This hat can be re-sized for a child by decreasing 12 sts at the cast on.
Two 100 gram skeins will make two hats--each the reverse of the other.
